Stop the War Coalition take down a criticism by a Muslim of their neoconservative rhetoric on their Facebook page about Islamophobia (not saying that was an Islamophobic thing to do, just saying it was a hillarious thing to do)

A few days ago a Stop the War coalition event showed up on my Facebook, titled ‘No to Islamophobia, No to war’.

I found the attempted save-face a bit rich, considering that they’ve helped contribute through their ‘leftist neocon‘ / ‘progressively orientalist‘ language to the cesspool of Islamophobic rhetoric (inadvertently I believe, but that’s their fault), emanating from the rhetoric around Syria, which can probably be isolated as the biggest single ‘external’ factor to have contributed to the rise of Islamophobia in recent times (by that I mean the biggest single effect from the ‘outside’ on the escalation of Islamophobia internally – i.e. leaving aside possible argument that such internal escalation was already in motion). And so below is what happened (click on picture to expand).
